About RFTech Consulting

RFTech Consulting was formed in 2021 and since then has helped eleven different clients with sixteen projects ranging from full turn-key product developments to short-term consulting engagements. 

Principal

Russ Fretenburg, BTech, Electronics Technology

Russ graduated from BCIT in 1986 with a Diploma of Technology in Electronics, Telecommunications Option, and in 2008 obtained the Bachelor of Technology Degree in Electronics, also from BCIT. He has over 35 years of experience in electronics product design, as well as a few years working as a Product Manager.

Experienced in all phases of product development - customer needs, requirements definition, concept and high level design, detailed design, PCB layout, prototype build/test/debug, certification, production NPI. Capable of working in (or leading) multi-disciplinary teams, or working as a hands-on individual designer, as needed.
